Site to Serve as a Resource for Neuroplasticity Research

Austin, Texas, November 6, 2009 - The CORE Health Foundation announced today the launch of Resilient Mind, an advocay and awareness campaign related to research, findings and best practices in the field of brain injury rehabilitation. The site resilientmind.org will serve as a resource for practitioners, researchers, the media and the general public in providing current information about the rapidly developing field of neuroplasticity.
About CORE Health Foundation
The mission of the CORE Foundation is to advocate for people with disabilities in novel ways through research, creation of public works, and awareness projects that hasten the removal of attitudinal biases in our society.
CORE Health Foundation also facilitates sharing best practices between brain injury research and treatment through its new initiative, Resilient Mind. This project bridges cutting-edge neuroscience research with real-world patient care to identify how the brain responds to specific therapies—offering real hope for true neurological recovery.
